A True Family Legacy

Back in the Midwest – in Sauget, Illinois, across the river from St. Louis, Missouri – there was a man named Larry Keeley who, on paper, fit the textbook example of the typical American man: businessman, 37 years old, with a wife and three kids.

In 1975, Larry proved that he wasn’t quite your average American, or your average businessman. The engineer and entrepreneur traded steady days of working with his brothers to start his own company – L. Keeley Construction. This was the start of a rapidly growing, family-owned company that transformed from a man with a dump truck and $20,000 to a multi-million dollar company making a name for itself on a national scale.

After five decades and 1,500+ Keeley'ns later, Keeley Construction has become a nationally-known, full-service construction company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. With four diverse business groups - Civil, Paving, Building, and Industrial - we are a proud construction partner that provides a world-class safety program and culture for all team members.
