Keeley Construction has partnered with ALDI to complete the construction new store locations as well as the remodeling of existing ones. The Keeley Building group has completed eight renovations for Aldi in stores that remain open to the public throughout the renovation. These projects include all new refrigeration, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and a full interior upgrade and re-fixture in a 10-week or less time frame. In addition to interior renovation work, Wood River, IL and Granite City, IL also included an addition to the store which added square footage to the sales floor while keeping customers and employees safe throughout the process. In order to meet the strict remodel schedules and not disrupt customers, Keeley often works nights to accommodate customer needs. In Ellisville, MO and Fairview Heights, IL the Keeley Building Group renovated an existing tenant space and transformed it into a brand-new Aldi location. In Litchfield, Illinois, the Keeley Building Group built a new ground up Aldi store at the end cap of an existing shopping center. All three spaces were located in active shopping centers, a component that added to the complexity and uniqueness of these projects. The projects also had to be completed within a short time-frame to meet Aldi’s stringent schedule requirements. Keeley self-performed the concrete and steel erection on all three projects to help control the schedule and onsite forces.
