Busey Bank partnered with Keeley Construction to design and construct a major update to their location at S. Grand and Chippewa St. in St. Louis’ Dutchtown neighborhood. In addition to exterior upgrades to create a safer environment for staff and customers, the 2,900 SF branch was completely renovated. Drive-ups were replaced with new two-way audio/video terminals to facilitate transactions and optimize staffing usage. Restrooms and the break room, which had been located in the non-accessible basement, were relocated to the first floor. The teller line was replaced with a more efficient, smaller footprint while additional offices and customer service stations were created through more efficient use of the space. The branch remained operational at reduced capacity throughout the entire process.
