Keeley Construction
Hudlin Park Substation
St. Louis, MO
Keeley’s Heavy Civil Team completed the construction of a new Ameren substation which involved extensive utility relocation outside of Barnes Jewish Hospital in Central West End, St. Louis. The new substation was comprised of 46 drilled pier substation foundations up to 18’ deep, 9 pad foundations, and a decorative cast-in-place concrete retaining wall. The complexity of the decorative concrete walls as well as the fluctuating schedule are two aspects that made this project unique. The Keeley Civil Team exceeded dates set by the customer schedule and self-performed 80% of the project thus continuing the existing partnership with the client
