The 4,800 SF project proposed by MEMC was to construct a brand new, Level 1 Clean Room as an extension of their current facility. Keeley assembled a team of professionals that possessed unparalleled knowledge, experience, and familiarity with MEMC’s existing clean room facility. The team was able to fast track the design of the building expansion and execute early competitive procurement of long lead items. Through proper planning and execution, the team was able to reduce negative impacts to MEMC plant production during construction. Keeley was able to self-perform critical activities such as excavation, site utilities, steel erection, and siding, allowing for greater control over cost and schedule. The clean room was executed on-time and within budget, despite an accelerated timeline.
